Take note, this is only my personal opinion here.. Their recent struggles against top squads are not joking.. It insinuated what is the real status of this "super" squad.
All right, injuries are there.. But this is not been an issue here. The issue is how mature and strong this two man inside the paint especially Howard. We know he had torn issues. But, come to think of it, he had also struggling with Lakers jersey most especially to the charity stripes. Some fans observed also his lacking of defensive prowess he done during Orlando days. He failed to apply that to the Lakerland.
On the Gasol side, if he is a professional athlete, he should accept whatever the decision of coach. Mike D'Antoni had an authority to re-tool his rotation that would help for the Lakers to overcome the big awful start of the season. Even to the point, Gasol off the bench.
Frankly, Gasol should re-invent himself regarding his value and quality of his game played this season. "Softness" issue is always the point of criticism. I rather to had Josh Smith-who are strong and athletic than a Spanish who are become slower as aging approached his career already.
I have no bad feeling to the Lakers fans. This blog represented what the court of public opinion has been mentioned. Even me, I observed a total declining for them as a squad.
