'Foolish Duel'- 2013 PBA Commisioner's Cup Finals Preview

Before I discuss the preview of the coming championship between Ginebra and Alaska, I will apologize on what could be my argument for this thrilling series. The basis of my tiff statements will coming from the forum sites and social media court of public opinion. I have no personal intention to throw in any type of dirty tactics for both Ginebra and Alaska camp.



Here we go. Since 1997, that is one year before I starting my academic life on a public primary school, this two famous squads dueled for the championship. Let us forget the past. Now, focusing on this series, the underdog should be the crowd favorite. Why? They couldn't stop a complete roster such as Alaska. That they should fill it up tonight.

Meanwhile, the Aces featuring their "beast" rookie Calvin Abueva seep the roster after the departure of so-called 'Lieutenant' LA Tenorio. The addition of an efficient import Robert Dozier served as their strongest arsenal against the remaining teams of this league. The query for this squad is the competence of a new mentor Luigi Trillo-who was a casualty of many types of criticisms like the "nepotism" fiasco on Uytengsu franchise, worst college coaching record, "Abueva as Alaska saviour" and many others. Trillo should overcome all of this in the name of his great clan otherwise, it could be a foolish wrap up for him.

The former Aces point guard LA Tenorio fill the void of leadership for the 34-year old franchise. The uphill performance of their reinforcement Vernon Macklin define their playoff campaign most especially to their semis series to Talk N Text. His behavior also is a concern for the part of Alfrancis Chua.

They should put it in control before it's too late. 

Being foolish and choker describes Chua's record most especially to the playoffs. Honestly, when I first starting to watch basketball, I don't know the credentials of the coaches. As far as I know, I am focusing on the performance of the players-that's all. Now, I explore his resume, most especially to their recent semis stint, sustainability is the issue for him. Some critics will notice the lack of counter attacks for Chua.  They should superb all of this.
