The Donaire's Fist of Success

This boxer is said to be the next Manny Pacquiao. His charisma and dedication to boxing characterizes this person. Although he leaved at US in almost half of his life, his Filipino blood is still endures to him. In any fight that he face, he is getting stronger and better. That is Nonito Donaire, Jr.

Donaire was born in Talibon, Bohol dated November 16,1982 to Nonito, Sr. and Imelda Donaire. He is the second to the youngest with Glen, Rosiel and Ermie.

During his younger years, he and his oldest brother Glen goes to GenSan for sparring purposes. This is the start of his long journey to become a better person.

On his amateur career, Donaire won 3 national championships. His record that time was 68-8 with 5 knock-outs.

By the year 2001 until now, he is now one of the greatest professional pugilist in the world. One of the unforgettable highlights of his career was during his encounter with American boxer Vic Darchinyan. This fight maximize his true potential and the popularity overflows after that great encounter.

He continues in going different world divisions such as super flyweight, bantamweight and super bantamweight.

Until now, he is undefeated in his last 28 fights. This is the product of his passionate conditioning. No doubt.

Let us pray that Donaire will once again bring the Philippine flag by crossing against Japanese Toshiaki Nishioka. I know that he wants to be a Manny Pacquiao someday. And this is one of the high expectations from the boxing fans.
