Recently, the PBA community was shocked in a so-called "blockbuster trade" between those 5-teams named Petron, GlobalPort, Barako Bull, Ginebra San Miguel and Alaska.
The center of attraction is the monicker "Lieutenant" Lewis Alfred Tenorio which he will go to the famous ballclub in the country named Barangay Ginebra San Miguel. In the memes world, he was promoted as "Gineral" from a Lieutenant. Other fans disagree on that trade package because they want a legit center for the franchise who is struggling on their title at almost 4 years.
But it is already done. Now, the big question is how Siot Tanquingcen handle the no.1 position for his team. How they allocate the playing minutes of Tenorio, Cortez and Helterbrand? The last two names has a manageable playing minutes last season.
Another question is what will be the role of LA for this kind of roster who is loaded with big names such as Mark Caguioa and Jayjay Helterbrand? The Fast and Furious tandem has a long time relationship in each other as teammates. Maybe Tenorio will be the good replacement of Helterbrand which he will retire in the nearest possible time.
One thing is for sure. Tenorio will be the huge threat for the other opponents who is seeking for the title in the coming All-Filipino Cup. It takes time to gel with his new teammates and environment. I'm sure the Gins fans will not be cry anymore because LA is there already.
