In every season, they have so many challenges to overcome. In every sport, there is no perfect tournament or season. The accusation of improper officiating is always there. That feat maybe give color to the league, based on another school of thought.
I think is biggest (if not, one of the biggest) controversy is the tweet of Don Allado that game-fixing is a long-time vice to the PBA. There are so many contested physicalities and non-calls are mentioned in his accusations.
Basically, in the justice plain of view, if you accused a person, be sure you have a very strong evidence. And Allado has not kind of arsenal to attack the league. Some of the hoop watchers say that there is a compromise treaty between Allado and Commissioner Chito Salud to not reveal that kind of accusation.
Well, in every fairy tale story, there is a moral lesson-moral lesson that can give change to every basketball people. In the coming PBA 38th season, I hope that the league leading by Chairman Robert Non implements its amended officiating regulations for the transparency, accountability and impartiality. That three virtues is totally needs of every PBA fans.
I am always welcome in every change but if there is a doubt, I will let be the one to criticize to give the concerning people a lesson for everyone. Remember, there is no perfect season but if you want change, its three letters- W-I-L.
