My Personal NBA Power Rankings (After 2 Months)

NBA is currently running. Twists and unexpected feats are occured so far. There is a team loaded with superstars are on the losing slump. They are the teams that are in the bottom of standing last season but rise from the dead as of the moment.

Take note, this is only my personal power rankings. I had no junky intentions but to blog my observation for this 82-game regular season..

5. LA Clippers

Right? LA Clippers-who are well-known neighbor to the more popular Lakers in the Staples Center. Their off-season in franchise history was the best as of the moment. They notched Jamal Crawford, Ryan Hollins, veterans Ronny Turiaf, Grant Hill, Matt Barnes and returnee Lamar Odom to boost the bench of the squad. Of course, Chris Paul, DeAndre Jordan and high flyer Blake Griffin leading the pack of the crop.

During the first 2-3 weeks of regular season, its rare to the Clippers that they lead Pacific Division which their bitter rival Lakers usually did.

Other analysts (for me, they are small-time analysts) stated that this team can reach the ultimate pack of NBA Playoffs. They beat big names such as Lakers and defending champ Miami Heat.

Just lately, they are in a quite miserable situation. But I know, Vinny Del Negro can draw the best board of bouncing back for the troop headed by CP3.

4. Memphis Grizzlies

Although OJ Mayo was gone, Grizzlies are improving and they are in cream of the crop of Western Conference. Their deadly outside shooting and ball hustling kills its opponents.

Like Clippers, they bolstered their bench with the likes of Jerryd Bayless and Wayne Ellington. Their defense specialty had their arsenal also aside from their outside specialty.

High intensity of game from Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay and Marc Gasol embodies their franchise monicker who are ready to roar and explode. Statistics never lie for them as the season going by.

3. Oklahoma City Thunder

After the Finals failure and Harden trade, Thunder is still considered as the tile protagonist. As we know, Westbrook and Durant are the main cast directed by coach Scott Brooks. This franchise had good accomplishments done in a short span of time after they transferred from Seattle.

Their big man Kendrick Perkins, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison and still adjusting Hasheem Thabeet are monsters in the paint but controlling their behavior is my recommendation to make this team better in terms of inside points.

Newly-acquired wingman Kevin Martin extending their options coming to the offensive end together with Thabo Sefalosha.

But on the cons side of things, there is nothing change so far. Its on Russel Westbrook who are reckless in hitting shots. I hope that he must learn in passing basketball to his teammates and at the end of the day, they will become more deadly at the end of season.

2. Miami Heat

Finally, Lebron James coveted the elusive title. But, his mission to got six more is not yet done. The Heat is only East team I included in this power list as of this time. It may change obviously.

I totally convinced Miami can dominate again the East by almost sweeping all squads belong to this bracket except Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets.

In my personal point of view, both Celtics and Nets are the only thorns of Heat in making back-to-back Eastern Conference champs at least this time.

Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis acquisition makes this team more formidable. Despite their lack of legal center, they still dominate both ends of the floor.

My only worries is when they face teams who are abundant of big man like Lakers and Pacers. Who will guard DH12 and Roy Hibbert? We will see as the season passing by.

1. San Antonio Spurs

What else is new to Greg Popovich? Spurs are the deepest squad to this league so far. Age is only just a number. They are familiar to this kind of recognition.

Their deadly wingmen embodies the Popovich type of basketball. This are Kawhi Leonard, Stephen Jackson, Matt Bonner and Danny Green. I am amazed on what is their stats will be on every 3-point shot they made.

As always, Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker are the protagonists. And we have some more, they had a deeper cast headed by Tiago Splitter, James Anderson, Boris Diaw, Gary Neal and French rookie Nando De Colo.

As far as I know, this team are cream of the crop in terms of bench points. I know they can be better squad so be ready for the other foes. I know their streak will never stop unless injury triggers them.
